This Log Data may include information such as your device Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, device name, operating system version, the configuration of the app when utilizing our Service, the time and date of your use of the Service, and other statistics.

Cookies are files with a small amount of data that are commonly used as anonymous unique identifiers. These are sent to your browser from the websites that you visit and are stored on your device's internal memory.
This Service does not use these “cookies” explicitly. However, the app may use third party code and libraries that use “cookies” to collect information and improve their services. Website Analytics (jmpaul.com)
The jmpaul.com website uses Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages, games and links visitors use. Google Analytics sets first-party cookies (_ga and _ga_*) and collects information such as the pages you view, the links you click, your approximate location, your device and browser type, and the site that referred you. Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses. Google signals, advertising features and ad personalization are turned off, so this data is not used for advertising.
Visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland are measured without analytics cookies. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, Google Analytics is not loaded at all. You can also opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. Requests to the site's agent API, MCP server and discovery files (such as /llms.txt) are counted in Google Analytics by the server. These counts include the endpoint or tool used and the name of the requesting software taken from its user agent, but never your IP address or the contents of inquiries and support requests.
Quest Multiplayer (jmpaul.com/quest)
Players on the quest page share one world. While the page is open, your browser sends the server where your character stands, which mini-game you are playing and the optional initials you choose, and everyone else on the page can see them. Your browser keeps a random player token, your initials and whether the chat panel is open in local storage so you are recognized on your next visit; clearing site data removes them.
Chat is live only and nothing is saved. A message is held on the server for about a minute so that the people online at that moment can receive it, and is then deleted. There is no chat history or chat log, and people who arrive later never see earlier messages. High scores you set in the mini-games are kept on a public board with your initials and the date. The server never stores your IP address; it keeps only a keyed, one-way hash of it for about an hour, for rate limits, and for as long as a ban lasts if a player is banned for abuse.
