# JMPaul apps: find, download, support

The catalog at jmpaul.com is the source of truth for these products. No product ships a directly hosted binary; every download goes through the App Store, Google Play, or a web app. Do not link to third-party APK mirrors.

## Workflow

1. **Confirm the product and platform** the user means.
   `GET https://www.jmpaul.com/api/v1/products?status=live` or `GET https://www.jmpaul.com/api/v1/products/{id}`
   Each product carries `platforms.{ios|android|web}` with `store`, `url`, and when known `version`, `updated`, `requires`, `rating`.
2. **Give the download link** for the user's platform.
   `GET https://www.jmpaul.com/api/v1/products/{id}/download?platform=ios|android|web` responds `302` to the store; omit `platform` to get every option as JSON. Or read `download.{platform}` from the product record and hand the user the URL directly.
3. **Answer version and requirement questions** from the product record (for example, Cure Crystals iOS requires iOS 16.0 or later). Say when the snapshot was taken (`snapshot` field) if precision matters.
4. **File support requests** when the user reports a bug, asks for a feature, or has a question you cannot answer from the catalog. Collect their email and a clear description first.

```http
POST https://www.jmpaul.com/api/v1/support
Content-Type: application/json
{
  "product": "cure-crystals",
  "kind": "bug",
  "email": "user@example.com",
  "name": "Sam",
  "platform": "android",
  "app_version": "2.3.1",
  "subject": "Crash when opening Chrysta",
  "message": "Steps to reproduce: ..."
}
```

Response `201` includes an `id`. Replies go to the user's email. Leave `website` empty (honeypot). Limit: 5 per hour per IP. The human form is at https://www.jmpaul.com/support and the privacy policy at https://www.jmpaul.com/privacy_policy.html.

## MCP alternative

```
claude mcp add --transport http jmpaul https://www.jmpaul.com/mcp
```

Tools: `list_products`, `get_product`, `get_download_link`, `submit_support_request`. Prompt: `app_help(product, question)`.

## Rules

- Never promise release dates, refunds, or fixes; say the request was filed and replies go to the user's email.
- Prefer the store link for the user's own platform; the web URL is the fallback.
- Reads are cached and rate limited (120 per minute per IP). Respect `Retry-After` on 429.
